Glenn Wakai has spent a career communicating to the public.

He is currently a Hawaii State Representative (Moanalua-Salt Lake) who was first elected in 2002.

He is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) where earned two B.A.s in Broadcast Journalism and Sociology (minor: Business Administration).

He has 11 years in the television news business – four years in Guam/Saipan and seven years in Hawaii.

In 1991 – Landed his first job in television news at KUAM-TV in Guam.
In 1992 – Helped build a news operation from scratch in Saipan and served as Assistant News Director.
In 1995 – Returned to Hawaii to be the court reporter for KHON-FOX2.
In 1999 – Moved across town to be a reporter at KHNL News 8.
In 2002 – Set aside the microphone to become a legislator.
In 2003 – Begins working for a public relations firm
In 2007 – Starts High Impact Communications
